Marking a Project as Complete

Marking a Project as Complete

Once you’ve completed all of your client's deliverables, mark your project as complete. To do this, find the relevant project from your Projects page. You can also search for the project using the magnifying glass icon if you know the project you’re searching for.

Once you’re on the Project page you’ll find a button that reads Mark Complete. Selecting this will take you to the final steps of your project.

Final Project Completion Steps

Before completing your project you have the opportunity to review the final project payment. You also have the option to expedite your payment if your client has not done so for you. Additionally, you can update any expenses from this page if expenses are allowed by the client.

You can read more about the details of expediting a payment here. Once you’ve confirmed the total project payment, hit Continue.

Client Feedback

The final section before completing this process will have you provide feedback regarding your experience with the client. This feedback is private and will not be shared with the client - it is for Glimmer employees only, and helps us understand how your project went.

DONE! The project is now marked complete and Glimmer will handle your payment. You will be able to see the date that you're expected to be paid at the bottom of the Payment tab in the Project page.

What if the client never marks the project as complete?

A client will have 14 days to mark the project as complete. During this time they may provide additional information regarding any hold up on their end - if there is no activity in that time frame then our system will automatically mark it as complete for them. This is to prevent projects from getting stuck in the "Mark Complete" stage and stalling out altogether.
